Hello FMNB Fans. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and to the Dad's out there a FABULOUS Father's day!
The show I was a part of on Saturday (Women Helping Women) with the Women Without Offices (WWO) group was a success. Lots of funds were raised to help Northumberland Services for Women. :) As soon as I know the actual number I will post. Happy Monday Morning FMNB Fans!
I Hope you all had a wonderful weekend full of relaxation and joy. I must share what happened to me last week! So, on Monday my previous customer calls me up and says they would like to order 2 more albums! WOOHOO! I of course am stoked! I get the order ready and before I am ready finish, my customer calls me back (this is now wednesday!) and says that they would like to order 3 more albums. This now brings the total to FIVE albums! I of course am dancing around my house with joy. That is a HUGE order. So needless to say, I am excited to have this huge order and I am still learning about what I need to be doing for future customers. What a huge learning curve! :) I am of course loving it! Yup, it's just around the corner!
I was thinking of making photobooks for the grandpas. Although it may be too late to get it in before Father's Day, it would still make the perfect gift! I would LOVE to work on a photo book Although I knew my first order wouldn't go without a hitch, I did learn some very valuable lessons out of it.
1) Count your Money before the customer leaves. ( I lost quite a but of money becuase I did NOT do this!) 2) Confirm EVERYTHING just before placing an order 3) Get signed consent form to order a copy for myself. ( there was no issue, but in the future to cover my butt just in case.) My customer was very pleased with her albums, and I am happy that she is happy! These were just a few lessons that I had to learn the hard way. Bring on the next order! Side note: I had posted in an earlier blog the website for my photographer, she has since then updated and got a new one so here it is! Jeanette Breward Photography |
